As long as you are a pretty good sailor and plan well - absolutely no reason a Bene30 can't take you pretty much anywhere you want to go.

Fine boat for coastal sailing by a prudent captain. Just drove by their factory a couple of hours ago in rural SC.

Are the Beneteau 30 footers good boats for cruising the Atlantic Coast or do you still need a blue water boat?
