|ccam||Watch out, she'll have you down in the galley cooking or something while she's sailing, Tell her there is only one captian, she can be the XO.|

The passport is a beaut. If she sails half as good as she looks, your the winner.

|equitiman||Did you mean refused to sell? Why would you refuse to sail a little boat? That is an insult to all us small yacht sailors!|

I know how you feel...I get attached to things too....
I have a few smaller boats from my youth that I "internally" refused to sell....
Kids will have them...and do what they want....

Sold one of my boats :(
We just moved up from our Precision 23 to a Passport 40. Today, we sold the P23. I'd love to say it was the happiest day (as the saying goes) but I'll be sad to see her go. She was my first boat, and while only a year old we had a ton of family fun on her. She was the fulfillment of a dream.
And yes, I'm thrilled with our new boat, but the P23 was the first boat I've owned and she was wonderful to us. The nice thing, though, was as the buyer left he said we helped him realize one of his dreams As long as our boat goes to a dreamer, I'm happy.
He will be picking her up in a month so I'll get to see her for a little bit longer.
