camaraderie Les...Welcome and good luck with your cruising plans!
I've never heard of Climma before but went over to their pages and the units look fine...but priced quite high compared to the larger marine A/C vendors. I'm wondering what you get for the extra grand or so as there is not much to a decent marine air system. The other caution I would have is that when you are out cruising and something breaks...you want easy access to parts and this is much easier when you are dealing with a big outfit.
You mentioned 3 things...
Quiet/Efficient/Powerful

Quiet is something I think you can expect from all the major brands today
Efficient is not typically something one would consider when running off A/C or generator since there is no battery drain. In any event...amp draw on there 16kw unit is no better than anyone else's.
Powerful...16kw is 16kw

I'm not saying you won't be happy with the unit as they seem well thought out with good attention to detail. Just some things to think about as an extra grand or two can buy a lot of rum punches!

Climma Marine Air Conditioning

Does anyone have experience with the Climma Marine Air Conditioning system sold by Coastal Climate Control in MD? I will likely be installing two Climma units on the new IPPY Cruiser that Pat and I. I have been researching the Climma and it seems to be very quiet, efficient and powerful.
