10 knots blue skies, rising tide, limit of 9 snapper in two hours, and my 83 year old fishing mate caught a few too. Just home to the frying pan. How is winter by the way?
Just 30' of water half a mile off Waiheke in the Hauraki Gulf, just 5 minutes from where I launch. You don't even have to go that far you could row out from the ramp - the old saying "fish your feet", instead of roaring off into the deep water. Saves gas too.
Oh I am sooo glad I read this thread. It is snowing outside (in Texas, in February?!@%!). Does anyone know how to send a virus through sailnet? What is it... blaster.scn??? Come on, Cam... shouldn't his post be considered spam? Something!!
Winter is doing great! We got 2 feet of snow yesterday and I was finally able to get my snowmobiles out. We leave tomorrow for two days farther north in more snow so we can put on a few hundred miles on in the beautiful wilderness. I can't wait! Thanks for asking!
Winter builds character. At least that's what I'm told. ;-)
No mosquitos either.
