As with most Westerly boats, they're fairly well regarded... you can read more about the Seahawk here.
Also, might want to contact the owner's association
Don't believe the deck or hull are cored, but I could be wrong.
I haven't owned or sailed one.... so I can't give you any first hand opinions on it. Is it a twin keel or the fin?? The fin keel has almost 46% of the displacement as ballast.
One problem with finding more information is that Westerlies aren't very common on this side of the Atlantic... so there isn't that much experience with them.

Westerly Seahawk 34'
I just bought one! I fell in love with the boat, lots of space, ctr cockpit, looks like a well built boat. I can't find much info about the boat. What is the deck cored with? The deck/hull joint, how fastened? What are the weak areas if any to look closely at? What are the down sides of a 34'/12'3" beam #15000 boat? I would think with afin keel it would have good sail qualities as well as under power. I just can't find that much info on the boat. Just about everyone i talked to has heard of then but it ends there. Any info would be great. A prior or current owner would be great to talk to. It is the fin keel type. Thanks
