New here, Can you help me?

Hello all, My name is Daniel. I was just given an old 12 ft sailboat. I know nothing about these boats and was hoping someone here could let me know what I have. The vessel has no identifying markings.

Thanks in advance.

Re: New here, Can you help me?

Daniel... have you looked closely on the transom for a molded/stamped HIN (Hull identification Number)?.. Also do you have the rig and any sails for it? The mainsail will likely have an emblem that matches the type of boat it may be.

I don't recognize it but the molding detail on the deck is quite distinctive and someone else might.. but the sail logo will help too, even if you can't find an HIN..

Thanks Faster, what you see in the pics is all it came with. There is a # on the transom. I googled it and unfortunately got no relevant results.

I believe with some work that that is most likely the small sailing dinghy you will be towing behind your 40 foot blue water cruiser! Just helping the dream along
