When does BigRed56 get out of jail?

Ahoy, colehankins. Big Red''s lingo comes out of a bottle of Jamaican rum. That''s also why he is a free thinker. If your brain was pickled, you couldn''t charge to think either. Ha! I was on the water nine days awhile back and started with almost no color base. I used SPF 45 liberally twice a day and didn''t even burn. And I was in it all day too. Heavy on the nose. Wear a hat with a brim all around. Saves both nose and ears.
Good luck. dhd.

When does BigRed56 get out of jail?

Thanks Dhart. I appreciate a good thread. I was envolved with a thread on the catalina owners group (the one about the capt firing an old black powder pistol at a jetskier)it was a good discussion, maybe 43 replys and was nearly tared and feathered cause i didnt go along with the masses. Phil stepped in(as usual) and shut the whole thing down(perhaps i did a little flaming toward one yahoo. he just does''nt get it.)
I love the boards, they are a wealth of info. Being unarmed and uninformed in a deal and getting the muddy side of the stick is one of the things i hate above anything else. The info in these posts help me and hoards of other uninformed sailors.
I wanna know how much time it takes BR56 to come up with all that jargon??? tell him not to stop. It is easy to spot a free thinker. He is the one that everyone else is in confederacy against.Whats the best sunburn remedy??? I burned my ass off today

Ahoy, colehankins. I agree with you about Sailnet''s principals and their hands off attitude toward the site. It is very different from most sites. There have been some very lively discussions here. They didn''t even intervene when things got a little emotional after 9-ll. It makes this truly a sailor''s site. I find the format and management of this site to be exceptional among its peers. dhd

When does BigRed56 get out of jail?

Hey alfa
Re: your 25 mar post,
Man you hit the nail on the head. I typed alot and said diddly squat. My brand of humor isnt for the masses. However, for humor to really work it must contain some truth. The same is true with sarcasm, ridicule and of course cynicism. The internet has seen to it that anyone with a connection, may at his pleasure, abase anyone else. For any reason. That being said, anyone reading the posts may(and usually do) misconstrue the intention of the post, yourself included. Sailnet is one of the only message boards available that i hav''nt seen any censure regarding posts(doesnt mean it doesnt happen) Also look for camraderie among sailors. this thread is full of it.

If BR56 comes back with a hook then we''ll know he really did glue his hand to the hull.
