The other two areas are on the West side of the St. Johns River. Ortega River has a number of yards and Whitney Marine, a few miles South, is the Hunter dealer and has a yard.

St. Augustine is about 20 miles South and has a number of large marinas.

We are at Palm Cove Marina which is on the main land side of the ICW of Beach blvd. Over the McCormick Bridge on the ocean side of the ICW is Beach Marine. It is nice as is Palm Cove but may have a little more water at low tide also a little more expensive. Pablo Creek is off of Atlantic Blvd. and I feel a little dumpy

Marinas in Jacksonville, FL

I just sailed my boat into Jacksonville Beach a couple days ago. There are a handful of marinas around, Beach Marine, Palm Cove and Pablo''s (I think that''s the name) are just north of the Mayo Clinic. We''re at Beach Marine. Go north on San Pablo and take a right on Beach Blvd and it''s on the left just after passing over McCormick Drawbridge. It''s quite a complex. There was no science involved in picking the marina, it was just the one that was nearby when time came to find a port.

Good luck, Don

Marinas in Jacksonville, FL

Hello,

I''ll be in the Jacksonville, FL area for several days and will have some free time. Wonder if there are some recommended marinas to go sniffing around? If anyone has any recommendations (will be at the Mayo Clinic with my father) please let me know.
