I think that told me! The recipe is just for beets and onions nothing much. Should worked it out. Still never mind.

It maybe two years between post, but that only means I haven't posted on here. I was reading a recipe book for sailing , which was talking about beets and onions. I just wanted to make sure I was thinking of the right thing. Given that some things have different names in different countries and not everyone lives in the good old USA.

You always have to say "Mahi Mahi" down here. If you say you caught and ate a dolphin, people who don't fish will look at you like you just said you caught and bar-b-qued a baby.

Beets are great just peeled and sliced very thin and added to a salad. No need to cook them. They're also nice just steamed with a bit of butter and salt and pepper.
