sailingdog Think that's gonna be a bit big... might be able to fly it... but I think it is a bit long for your boat. The luff measurment for the Columbia 7.6, based on the 33' ISP and 10.7' JSP measurements from end up with a 34.5' distance or so. Do you have a bowsprit to fly it from???

sailingdog It would really help if you said what kind of boat you have... if it is a masthead rig or fractional rig will affect the measurements...and your ability to fly the chute. Also, it would help if you said whether it is an asymetric or symmetric spinnaker... I am guessing asym, since you describe it as a cruising spin.

My boat has a I mesurement of 33' can i fly a cruising spin with a luff of 35' J is about 10.5'
