Built 1975. Sold and launchd 1976. She''s hull #1. Legend has it she was kept as show model before selling.

Lemme see here........the ever lovely Bethlehem Steel Plant is straight across the river from me with about two dozen smokestacks (most of which thankfully are no longer used), the Brandon Shores electrical generating plant (coal fired natch) is just up river, the huge cranes of Dundalk Marine Terminal look like something out of Star Wars, there''s a cement mixing plant, we''re on one of the flight paths into the airport (it is nice to see your boat from the air occasionally, as the jet dumps exhaust crud all over it), and many other industries along there that aren''t readily identifiable. At least all the smokestacks negate the need for tell-tales on the boat. It''s easy to see which way the wind is blowing.

On the plus side, a long distance view of Baltimore''s Inner Harbor skyscrapers, Ft. Carroll (Civil War era fort worked on by some guy named Robert E. Lee among others. Never completed, and it''s kind of ugly in its own way, but an improvement over Beth Steel), Ft. Howard VA Hospital and grounds, Francis Scott Key Bridge, and Ft. McHenry.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, no?

Jim -- Thanks for the chuckle. I needed that today! Sorry we missed you at Fairlee Creek a couple of weekends ago. It was a nice time and something like 10 boats.

If you buy that Coronado we will kick you out of the Pearson Sailing Association AND (EVEN WORSE) you have to return that tube of Gen-uuu-ine Dow Corning High Vacuum Grease.
