Re: Comet 460

Thank you for that I had a survey done only found a few things. It has a removable stay sail and storm jib.
I need to get a spinnaker or cruising chute. I was wondering about a water maker. I need to update electronics but not sure what is essential and what just nice to have

Re: Comet 460

Congratulations. Nice boat
You need to check all the boat, including mast, rigging and shroud fixation and an overall inspection on the boat. It would be good idea to have a removable stay for a stay sail, a jib or a storm sail.

The man to do that, or to tell you who should do that (in the case you are not near), is Luca Marziale that works for Comar shipyard. Also a good and not expensive place to leave the boat for the winter (near Rome airport).

We'll i have done it bought the new boat
How the plan is to keep it in the med for a couple of years to get used to it and get it kitted out for a passage across the Atlantic then the Pacific.
The question is what would be considered must have?
