Foul Weather gear-Boots that fit!

Ebb:

I haven''t seen such a boot, altho'' I''m sure no boot expert. But what I''d suggest is consider buying a pair of athletic inserts that are often sold in stores like Foot Locker. These won''t absorb water, will give you lots of support, can be replaced over time if necessary or OTOH moved from old boots to new ones.

Foul Weather gear-Boots that fit!

Hi,
To any who reply-Thank You.
I''m looking at the various pairs of boots out there and the local WestMarine only had one pair in stock to try on. These were reminiscent of the rain boots my mother bought me as a kid...you know...you needed to wear 4 pairs of socks to make them fit without your foot sliding all around in them.
Without having a selection of boots to see and try, does anyone know of a brand that actually gives you a halfway decent fit instead of the mass-produced flat sole types that don''t have any arch support? I can order any brand online, but without seeing how there made I don''t want to waste the time in getting something I wouldn''t use due to a bad fit.
Thanks
Thanks.
