Being tucked in there behind that bluff, I am sure broadcast tv is terrible when dockside, probably impossible for the ATSC digital channels. But out on the river, anchored, the line of site to the DC tv transimtters should be at least "ok". There are at present more digital channels being b'cast than analog. That's why I am curious.

We have the DirecTV/DVR and slim little DVD player behind the sette. DVR remote is RF (that helps).
We have a marine TV anternna up on the mast (a 9" dinner plate that says "Interceptor"). We got really bad broadcast reception from it until we switched to the Satellite service. We haven't tried re-hooking up the "Interceptor" away from the dock. I'll give it a try though - I'm curious.
We do have great internet signal out at anchor, and I'd like to check out your recommendation. Sounds cool.
I'd recommend the Verizon AirCard to anyone looking for a wire-free and a WiFi free connection.

I'm interested in the reception you get down at Ft Washington for digital channels, as well as out and about in the area. And type of antenna you're using.
