The curfew was lifted last night in the resort towns of Pattay and Phuket. Little risk in the areas where cruisers will be. Come on over and enjoy the land of smiles.

All quiet in Krabbi. A few days of sailing in Phnang na Bay have been beautiful with light SW winds. Anchorages empty, plenty of tour boats out. Locals don't seem to be interested in the coup. Other then the curfew, all good here.

I was in Bangkok two weeks ago and walked around the demonstration areas. It seemed more like a carnival then anything else. Hopefully cool heads will prevail and keep the peace.

Chartering Krabi / Thailand

Anyone has a experience with chartering in the west side of Thailand - Krabi etc.? I would like to spend a week there on a boat but I cannot find many recommendation.
