Leaking Heat Exchanger

Been noticing a small drip under the bottom of the bulkhead mounted heat exchanger. When I start the engine, it starts spraying a pretty decent amount. Is it possible to spot weld this part? I do not know how old it is.
Thanks.

Can you provide any info on the HE? It would be nice to know the manufacturer, but at the very least the material. A picture would help.

While not technically a spot weld, a brazed repair might be possible, depending on the material. Some people have had success using JB weld type epoxy for pinholes and small cracks.

Thanks for the response. Third item down in the link below is the replacement part. Unfortunately, I do not have a photo of my current exchanger.
Moyer Marine Atomic 4 Engine Rebuilding and Parts

Probably going to just go ahead and buy a new one. Going to take the part off for a looksie this weekend. But I hope there isn't an underlying problem which is creating too much pressure on the HE? The oil looks good (and pressure is steady at 40) , temp has been good too (around 180). I don't think it is a head gasket problem.
