This is nearby, in calm conditions. Not the friendliest of lee shores.

camaraderie Giu...I can make you a good deal on a boat that doesn't pound in light weather like that! (g)

JohnRPollard Giulietta,

Glad to hear you're back safely.

Last night Public Television featured a program on Christopher Columbus. There was some great video of Cape St. Vincent, which frankly looked rather intimidating -- and that was in calm conditions. Fortunately I had already seen Fred's note (tell him thanks) about your arrival.

Looking forward to hearing the trip report when time permits.

werebeagle Welcome back, even if briefly, and I can't wait to see the videos.

Giulietta NO NO NO

I am here, well for a few minutes..

Had a splendid day with the family away from the boat, we went out for dinner tonight and now we're watching movies, while I try and get my ADSL crap to work..

I will come back soon, more towards the end for the month.

I have many videos and will post about the trip...we had a day of 30kts and 10 foot waves, and we were pounded like hell....

I also have made a few videos for the newbies...just need time as I have stuff to do...

camaraderie G) He read the threads from when he was gone and is now preparing a massive photoshop event!

ReverendMike f) Fred is still 'debriefing' him and telling him what he did wrong.

TrueBlue e) His boom broke again and he's too embarassed to show up.

tomaz_423 21 hours ago Fred announced Alex is back home and went to sleep.
No post from him since.
Folks, what do you think:
a) Was the trip so hard that he needs more than 21 hours of sleep?
b) He forgot Sailnet and is cheating us with some other forum
c) Alex does have a life besides Internet
d) He lost his Sailnet password

arbarnhart Be careful! Your return was apparantly expected. It looks like the featured article for the week is a winter project you are probably just itching to do on your boat:
