sailingdog LOL.. Yup.. I am... Rolling and tipping gives pretty good results... but 95% of the real work is the prep. IMHO, if you don't do a good job prepping the hull... don't bother painting it...

SuzySailor And you're probably going to REALLY feel that way if you find out that what we're thinking of painting is the hull.

sailingdog IMHO, if your going to be painting the cabintop and deck, you'd be much better off using a two-part LPU paint like Awlcraft. It will last a good deal longer and look better than the one part paints like Easypoxy, if the surface is properly prepped.

Pettit Easypoxy Sandtone

Hey all-- a very specific question here. Has anyone painted their boat in Easypoxy Sandtone, and if so, do you have a photo you could share? I find it a little difficult to translate from sample to boat.... we're looking for kind of a light khaki color.... Thanks! PS We're on the way to the boat right now, so I won't be able to respond for a day or so.... which may be good--
