After an extensive search, it looks like the 400 is the boat for us. I'm having trouble finding the differences between the original and the MkII. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks,

Sal

According to one of their brochure web pages:

The Catalina 400 mark II boasts a new deck design. Under sail, the twin steering stations offer the helmsman perfect perspective. New and upgraded features for the 400 mark II include larger engine, steering and mechanical systems, upgraded interior finishes and detailing. The spacious owner's cabin has twin hanging lockers, abundant storage and centerline double berth. Varnished teak, ash, and coordinated fabrics compliment the custom countertops and durable textured overhead. The 400 is carefully engineered with fiberglass sub-sole structural grid and well planned electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems. The Catalina 400 is available in 2-cabin and 3-cabin configurations.

Might be worth a phone call or email direct to Catalina for clarification.
