Thank you for your excellent post. The details that you share, make this seem like it would be a great adventure, and not the ordeal that I had initially thought it would be. That boat on Lake Chanplain is looking better to me after reading your post!

|labatt||Thanks... I have to say that traversing the Hudson and canal were a unique experience and I'm looking forward to doing it again. I'll also mention that if anyone stays over at Catskill or Albany, let me know and perhaps we can grab lunch or dinner, or just stop by to meet.|

Traveling the Champlain Canal
I've been asked by several people over the past few months to provide info and tips on transiting the Champlain Canal and the Hudson River. I've only done it once, so I'm by no means an expert, but I figured I'd put all of my tips in one place. If others have anything else they would like to add, please do! Also, many people are often willing to help others make the trip through the canal system. I, for one, time depending, can volunteer to help out.
