I won the regatta in the keys in my endeavor this year. Blew away the race boats because it was blowing 35! [POST EDITED -- Commercial postings not allowed per forum guidelines.]

I have an Endeavor 37 on the Chesapeake Bay - love the roominess. Might be willing to sell. I also have a small power boat & a Cape Dory Typhoon & I travel extensively for work so the 37 is underutilized.

Slow but solid.

Sinbad, we saw a number of E37''s in the Caribbean so there doesn''t appear to be a disconnect between that choice and your cruising destination. OTOH we saw lots of other boats there, as well, and some undoubtedly sailed better when getting ''down island'' against the wind/ocean swell/current.
I''ve always thought Practical Sailor''s review of the 37 was on target; you might consider picking up a copy of it for further consideration and to help you focus on the especially pertinent issues when examing a specific boat.

Am looking at a 1978 Endeavour Sloop in good Physical but only fair Maint/Houskeeping condition. Would like opinions on the value of these boats as well as sailaing and quality opinions. She doesn''t look particularly fast but I currently have an Irwin CC 32.5 so obviously fast isn''t my main concern. Coastal cruising Bahamas and Carribean will be the grounds. Thanks for any and all advice...
