|STTnBama||I also use a swivel mount such as the one jackytdunaway showed above. It's nice to be able to move it around to any angle. It has a nut on it that can be tightened to prevent it from swinging, which will be ok around the dock or anchorage but i'm not sure I would trust it at sea, probably secure it with a strap or just take it down.|

There is an article on the C36 website about mouting a flat screen to the bulkhead. In addtion to bolting the TV up, the owner fabricated a frame around the TV to provide a little extra support and give a finished look.
It looked very nice in the photos.

|teshannon||Actually I was going to give him a positive rep for well thought out responses, even if they looked the same for every post he did. Looks like CD or Cam got him.|

Looks like he has been removed,
and I was just about to give him some Pos Rep for catching the dog.

Second one of the day like that.
Saw it somewhere else about an hour ago.
The mods will clean it up soon.

I put a swivel mount on the bulkhead of my 27' Pearson so i can move it around and see it from many places. i just use a bungy to secure it when sailing.

I cut and pasted the following from the catalina site - hope that's legal.
Have you had any issues with viewability at this location?

|pmarkt||I mounted a 32" flat screen in the same place using galvanized carriage bolts, 3/8" or 7/16" can't remember. Worked great, have many hours and and some heavy seas with it. This Panasonic model removes quicky and there have been a few times in the gulf that I have just grabbed it real quick and layed on a cushion just to be safe!|
