sailingdog Vanessa-

Welcome to Sailnet. I'd highly suggest reading the post in my signature to get the most of the time you spend here. I'd also recommend that you might want to not post your phone number or e-mail address, but let people PM you and let you screen them prior to giving them more personal information. Be aware that you can not respond to PMs until you have 10 posts.

The OP (original poster) of this thread may not be the best boat to crew on, as he seems to have a serious problem keeping crew, and that generally indicates something about the captain or the boat that is less that appealing.

travelisaverb Hello. What beautiful day for sailing.

I recently completed a crewing course with Corinthian Yacht club @ montrose. I've been out a few times, but I'm looking for crewing opportunities downtown, as I live/work downtown and it takes too long with traffic for me to get to the boats in Montrose on Wednesday nights. Cubs traffic is brutal.

I'm still pretty green, but I'm very comfortable around the larger offshore boats, and very eager to learn more and gain more experience.

I'm even available today and tomorrow if you need crew for racing, practice, or cruising.

max-on I just read this, who the F&%$ is Frenzy, and what is his problem?
05-23-2008 10:02 PM
sailingdog Bravo Tommyt... well said... Must be a reason he's having trouble keeping crew... If all the crew are leaving, chances are it ain't the crew that's the problem.

tommyt Frenzy,

Not really sure where your head is at....but it seems to be a very dark place. I certainly don't understand your attack on T34. He seems to have quite a few people that do listen to him here, and I will raise my hand for him.

As I did not recognize Frenzy I thought that I should see what you have posted. It seems you mostly post looking for crew. For some reason, are you having a problem keeping them? If your crew is subjected to this type of crap I would understand your losing them.

Have a great season.

sailingdog T34C-

We refer to that as using a stomach window...

sailortjk1 Interesting how someone can determine all that from an internet board.
