Easiest 20-26 boat to raise mast on?

Please tell me brand names and model numbers of good boats to learn on (family boats) in the 25-30'' range as that is the size range I would ultimately like to sail in. Also, if you can give me a good rule of thumb to use when pricing these boats. I have heard $1000/foot, $500/foot, etc. for a good, used boat in average condition, one that will not need major repairs, hopefully, for a few years at least. I would very much like to find a boat in that range to learn to sail in the waters at the coast of the Carolinas and Virginia but don''t want to break the bank. I am somewhat new to the sport but I love it.

Easiest 20-26 boat to raise mast on?

As much as small Hunter''s are derided in this forum, raising the mast on them is extremely simple. From mast storage to fully rigged, sails included is less than 45 minutes, by my self.

Easiest 20-26 boat to raise mast on?

Currently askign questions to know what boat it is I''ll be looking for next year. I''d like one that the mast is easy to raise (even with help from hardware designed to help) as I would be trailering this boat from home every time I''d go to sail.

any suggestions on boats in this range that you''ve found to be ''mast friendly"? Looking at something to day sail on the Chesapeake..

Thanks
