sailaway21 I have this vision of the toaster in the shower experiment. If I close my eyes, I can see the Portagee holding the toaster. Heck, I can even see Cam's hand turning on the water. Unfortuantely, I can also see CD fumbling around trying to get the toaster plugged in.

For some strange reason the electric boat thread is responsible for these thoughts. I guess it's not so bad after all, except the CD part.

T37SOLARE I've tried hand cranking the diesel, electric starters are the way to go....

camaraderie Tolls? There are already too many tolls! And you want to take more? What if someone crossed over the bridge with just enough money to pay the toll on the way back and then found you had raised the tolls? What then? Who is going to take care of that man? Will you be responsible?? I didn't think so! I don't know why people like you think more money is the answer to everything. It is not and I for one resent your implication....
What's that? You said POLLS...not TOLLS??
Oh...nevermind...

erps I'm with xort. Is that a yes vote or a no vote? Oh, oh. Did we just get a consensus?

xort Consensus? I disagree
04-30-2008 07:41 PM
erps I vote yes. What was the question?

brak Well, that did not work the way I planned - one of the poll options was too long and it simply cancelled the whole thing. Oops. Sorry 'bout that.

Consensus on electric propulsion

I wonder if a poll might help clarify the issue one way or the other.
