Melrna Thanks everyone for the kind words. Why the moderator brought up dogs, I have no idea except maybe sailnet is finally paying him in Rum. Good on him if that ever happens. I would post pictures but I haven't figured out that part yet on this website. Like a damsel in distress, I always need help.
BTW, I did take her out today for her first sail. She is such a sweetheart. 6.3-6.5 knots in 12 knots of wind. (No comment there Alex). When one is used to 5 knots, 6 knots plus is a good day.

sailaway21 I started out re-reading this thread with the intent of recommending something in the Labrador breed to handle the loving end of things and, like everyone else, am not exactly sure what you're mounting that autopilot on. If it by chance is a Labrador please forward me make, model, and effectiveness as I've one prone to wandering. (g)
