tinned wire

Am in the process of ordering a new sail cover for my 33'' sloop. Has anyone have something good to say about their covers and where they purchased them? Any special features I should be aware of? Any help would be appreciated.

Get a pair of heat sink clips to take the heat away from the wire coating. Flux core solder something soft and get the wire hot as you can without melting the insulation and wipe the solder on. You can wipe it quickly while still hot with a wet sponge to clean it up It is kind of a trick and may take a little practice to get it right thats what the little short scraps are good for.
