Re: Sailing dinghy

Have acquired a Bobbin in a sorry state, to refurb for my grandchildren. It has no dagger board or rudder. Could any one provide me with dimensions and photos if possible.

Have a Bobbin that needs a mainsail. If you know of where to get one PLEASE let me know. I was hoping to get a used one, the boat is not worth the cost of a new custom one!

Pearson Brothers Bobbin

Hello,

Pearson Brothers LTD built the 9' sailing dinghy "Bobbin" in Arundel, West Suxxex, England. They are no longer in business.

Bobbin is 9' overall, 4'2" beam, 80 lbs, 2 piece mast, tan sails (main and jib)
Over 1200 were built and are still very popular in the UK. Strongly built and good lines.

Ours is sail number 301.

Hope this is helpful.
