If you don''t get any answers here, join the Pearson email list here on Sailnet (click on the "Join E-Mail Lists" button in the lefthand column) and ask the question there. That list has several P-33-2 owners on it who may be able to answer that question. Am interested in the answer myself since I''m in the process of buying a 1988 P-33-2.

Pearson 33 Companionway Stairs
We have a 1986 Pearson 33 and when trying to remove the companionway stairs to do some teak refinishing, we found they would not budge! All the screws came out, but there seems to be something else holding them in place. Any ideas?
