sailingdog No reason not to... BTW, your engine really isn't polishing the fuel, since it doesn't have the volume to be properly polishing the fuel.

sailboy21 That is basically what your engine is doing anyway... filtering and recirculating as it runs, same thing with all modern cars.

Polish as you Go?

ok.. my dad was a plumber Anyway, it just occured to me. Why not polish my fuel as I motor around with my boat? Hook up a 2nd fuel pump and really really big filter to re-circulate and "polish" the fuel back to the tank?
need to stop thinking and do more sailing I know
