CaptainForce gbillman, As I posted on the Morgan OI site, I have second thoughts about the application of this autopilot. I still think that is likely to be quite sufficient. Certainly the hydraulic system removes the need for a more powerful system with a larger vessel, but I have no knowledge of the rate which the fluid is pumped. If the flow rate is not different from a larger or more expensive unit, then I see no reason to pay for more. 'take care and joy, Aythya crew

CaptainForce If you have the existing hydraulic steering it should work well. I had the existing Benmar hydraulic drive that I saved and "married" it to a Nexus control head. Your choice would be better because the new technology 12V hydraulic pump will use fewer amps than my old 1/4hp Benmar pump that was original on my OI.

Will a RAYMARINE SMARTPILOT ST6002S1 (E12106) work on a 41 OI? Appreciate anyone's insight. Thanks.
