I stupidly threw out the trash can from the boat - was using it to transport old bottom paint we'd peeled off - and thought I'd have no problem finding a new trash can... well think again!
Does anyone know where I can get a new trash can that will fit properly. It has to have quarter rounds on each corner - which is remarkably difficult to find!
Bilurkeurkel,
It's a Rubbermaid available at Target among others.I think its the 5 gall size.

Bill,
the trash barrel is a Rubbermaid model number 2957
I have not seen it in stores as it is a commercial size, but is available on line for about $20 delivered (do a google search), also available from janitor/commercial supply houses.
I use a 28-1/8 qt Rubbermaid 2956 trash can in my PSC 34. It fits like a charm. When I was working, it was the standard black plastic office trash can. Like everyone else I had one beside my desk. (The PSC 37's Rubbermaid 2957 was the bigger trash can out in the hall near the copy machine.) Lowes used to carry it, but when I checked in the New Bern, NC store today, they had some off brand trash can that looked about the same.
