AllThumbs I am thinking you need to have something made. Doesn't sound too complicated. Gets some measurements and go to a machine shop and get a price. It sounds like simple lathe work. In fact, if you sent me the materials and measurements, I might be able to make it for you. I have a lathe and milling machine.

bristol321 No luck even with a picture.....all i can do is provide a description...
The rudder rests/pivots upon the keel. The bottom of the keel has a u shape that protrudes outward to catch the rudder foot. This boat has no "rudder shoe" instead it is simply a bronze pin thru bolted in place that the rudder pivots upon. I am looking for the shoe with a pin/sleave/bearing that the rudder would pivot upon.

rudder hardware question

Been looking online for a rudder shoe......anyone now of a distributor of rudder hardware...specifically a rudder shoe?
