labatt We are having a great time. I've never been closer to my kids or my wife, and things are going well (except for worrying about the economy and my business while I'm away). If I can answer any questions for you let me know! Our blog is at s/v Pelican - Following A Dream.

labatt It's all on the blog... updated every day or two... s/v Pelican - Following A Dream. We're doing well... still in Annapolis finishing up a few odds and ends. There's a front passing through over the next few days, and we're hoping to head out on Friday.

Glad you're going south!

That you are headed for warmer temps is a nice consolation. I couldn't imagine heading towared the cold, though it too would be exciting. Just read the CW re people sailing to Antarctica... Me, I like the turquoise waters you're likely heading for. Did you throw your watch away yet?

labatt SD - She sure as heck is. I'm watching the weather for next weekend in prep for our trip to Annapolis... prediction is a 30% chance of precipitation on Friday... looks like a low will be coming through, but then sunny on Saturday. I'll be watching that barometer like a hawk for the next few days...

sailingdog LOL...she's probably in better shape than you are...

brak Well, good luck with your trip! I certainly envy you May be when my kids grow up a bit more we'll try again.

BTW, if I were looking for a place to do any work on the boat, I'd go for Zahnisers in Solomons, rather than anything in Annapolis itself.
