I don't know if mwrhode is still checking in on this thread. I do know that he is still sailing on Lanier and interested in people to sail with him. If he doesn't pop up here, you may want to head over to anything-sailing and contact him there

turfguy Hi MW,

Just ran across this thread. I live on Lanier, just off of Rt 369 in Forsyth cty. I have lots of boating experience, but learned to sail three yrs ago on Lanier. Took my second ASA course in Clearwater and loved the offshore sailing.

RAGTIMEDON Glad you saw the humor in it --- some of the lawyer/sailors who hang around here wouldn't! Of course if he has a slip with power outlet and a small electric heater, you could stay on the boat and both live dangerously!
