SailorMitch Last year there weren't many sailboats present. If Tom is correct, then I go with what Chef said--still lots of vendors to check out to make it a worthwhile visit. It is mainlt stinkpot heaven of course.

Baltimore Show

Last year the Annapolis "Dealers" got together and made an effort to support the show...Catalina, Hunter, C&C, Tartan, Benneteau and Island Packet all had some boats present....My understanding this year is that ONLY Island Packet will be there and thats only because they have powerboats so they where going anyway... It cost alot to attend, moving big sailboats in isn't cheap and with the state of the economy....afraid there won't be much to see except deeply discounted powerboats and depressed salesman.

chef2sail Last year 1 C&C and one Tartan. Primarily a power boat show, but some of the products such as cleaners, clothes and ancilliary stuff make it worth traveling to.

PalmettoSailor Last year they had maybe 8 30'+ Sailboats sans rigs. As I remember they were Bene's, Hunters and I want to say a C&C but I really don't remember all of them. If you're close by it is a decent afternoon waster on a cold day. Of course all the brokers will be there so you can talk to them about what you are looking for. The boat we eventually purchased was a result of a broker we met at this show following up whenever he found a listing we might be interested in.

Hopefully this year there will be some decent vendors to check out to help us fit out for next season.

chucklesR If you are looking for a trailer boat, that's a good show for you. Either way it's a good show, it gets the blood pumping and the ideas flowing.

Baltimore Boat Show

I saw the Baltimore Boat Show is coming up. Does anyone know if their sailing section is very good? I always thought of it as more of a powerboat show but they are advertising a special sailing section.
