Jeff - I have done some low-key research (ie messed about on Google) and so far come up with various possible pipework configurations and some suitable products. I am looking at "Vetus" tanks which come in a suitable size. They are not eye-wateringly expensive, but seem to have the right specs - see Vetus Flexible Waste Holding Tanks at AhoyCaptain.com - Always your best source. .
The main problem with flexible tanks seems to be the danger of wear caused by rubbing against surfaces, projections etc and my next task is to look a a suitable material to put in the under locker spaces which will protect against this.

I am in the same boat, figuratively and literally, I have an M34 that has an Esan and I want a holding tank and Esan….need room and project ideas for the process. If you come up with anything please let me know….There is some room under the port side settee

Sorry I can't provide any wisdom here as I am in the same position with my Morgan 30. There is no space forward of the water tank in my case, but both the port and starboard under-v-berth spaces look possible. I was originally hoping to locate the tank somewhere on the centreline, but that ain't a goer. I guess it would be possible (but more complicated) to install a tank on each side and interconnect them....
Have you decided what make of tank you are going to use?

M 34 Waste Tank
I am replacing a collapsable waste tank that was located forward of my water tank in the v berth. Where is the best place to locate a new plastic tank? On the portside just forward the head, under the v berth? If anyone can remember the particulars of this project, I am open for suggestions.
