You should visit the Classic Hallberg-Rassy website (Google will get you there with that label). The Mistral is old and has some problems.

This maker has an excellent reputation for quality. have it surveyed as even good boats can have serious problems. I would guess the venues you are interested in would be no problem for this boat. I certainly can say that for Lake Michigan, where I sail. I have seen a number of them around.

Im considering a older Hallberg Rassey 33'' Mistral. I currently sail on the Mississippi near St. Louis. Im looking for something that I could take to Lake Michigan or the Bahamas for a couple of months at a time. Are there any opinions on this boat?
