Wood filler/epoxy around sill

The PO of my current boat put sunbrella window covers on the inside of the window sills on my Catalina 27. I began removing them this weekend and have realised where my last couple of water leaks originate. When I removed the plastic sill it exposes the plywood of the hull. It appears that some of the wood has chipped away and some has warped over time. I am planning to go out this week to remove the windows and re-caulk for a better seal, but my question is about the wood- is there a wood filler or an epoxy anyone can recommend I use to fill the gaps in the wood and also a white paint to paint over the filler when it is dry? I would like this to look as good as possible but also to prevent the current leaks from coming back.

Any recommendations?

Thanks,

Chris
