Unemployed & going broke
For the past 6 years I have worked for the same Automotive Parts Wholesaler. Helping to take them from 4 warehouses east of the mississippi to 20+. To thank me for these years of dedicated service, traveling every-other week and taking on additional duties with the promise of future compasation I was rewarded with an "Involentary Premature Unfunded Retirement" (Laid-Off). Sure glad I spent all those weeks away from my wife & home..!! They were nice enough to pay me to go away, which has allowed me to go sailing here on Tampa Bay 3-4 days a week. Now that the $'s running out I guess I better go find a job....How hard could that be...

I have lived at the same address for 9 years. For the first couple of years my acquaintance with neighbors was just the causal hello with light conversation. About 4 years ago we had a meet your neighbor party and some friendships turned into regular cookouts.
Now my job requires me to travel 2 to 3 times a month some months and I may be home for 2 to 3 weeks at a time. During my time at home I do yard work, go sailing, pretty much anything but work. This apparently led to my neighbors to gossiping about what I do.
During a cookout last year I discovered that all my neighbors had come to the conclusion I was some kind of international spy. Apparently the gossip led from one conclusion to another until I was this mysterious person.
When they found out I was a business consultant that had clients all over the country and Canada it all made since to them. WE all had a good laugh, although some still think I'm a spy.
You got a love neighborhood gossip.

Working on motorcycles for the last 10 years because they seem to have the latest technology, fun to ride and tilt the world like sailing. Naw, at 200mph they are way faster.
Iffin it don't make a least 200hp per liter than it is poop but 400+ with a hair dryer is better.
