jrd22 Boss- welcome to Sailnet. WA is represented here pretty strongly so you should be able to get some good advice about local stuff.

Aloha from Olympia, WA

Grateful to find this forum. Lots of wisdom here and folks seem to be relatively patient with us noobs. I grew up sailing fairly often on a variety of craft but it has been a long time since I've sailed regularly. Ever since a handful of fun outings crewing on friends boats' a couple years ago (before I moved to WA) I have found myself daydreaming about sailing and browsing boats for sale online religiously. Am kicking around either getting a trailerable boat in the 18 or 19 ft. range or looking for a small, economical liveaboard. Won't rush into either decision though. Just gathering info. right now. I'm in the education business with lots of time off. Looking to put it to good use!
