sailingdog Now only if you could clean up Xort so he looked so good... Nicely done...

That's too funny!

I actually threw my sewing machine across the room, first time I tried the hatch covers. Pretty frustrating sewing, when I've been used to piecing quilts, etc..

Well, now I have some time to give it another go!

I will be happy to give it. I have to tell you, the best advise on the cushions was to staple the pieces together before sewing. It holds them all together. The downfall is all of the sharp staple edges causing some nasty little cuts and pokes.

Can you believe the irony, Staples causing me such pain!

Looking good! I'll be pm-ing you for advice when I start on our hatch covers!

xort Send measurements and a lot of money and you got a deal!!

the cover is phifertex plus with reticulated foam on top over closed cell foam, all wrapped in batting for extra softness at the outer skin.
The snaps are in the back and snap into buttons on the cockpit coaming. holds in place well.

She did our bimini last summer as well. turned out very nice but these are even better.

She also did 2 throwable cushions to match
