|tbeagley||I built it, its 1/4'' oak ply on 1/2'' marine grade ply with 3/4'' white oak mitered and as top ridges. Thanks for the comment. Finished pix coming soon!|

Hi, Nice work on the hatch. Did you build it or refinish it?
I have a challenger I'm starting work on. I'll need to make a hatch.
Did you use the oak or teak and did you use the old one as a template or start from scratch?

|tbeagley||Yeah, today was the first day that was warm enough for me to do it. I started to fill in some gaps and epoxy-ed the part of the keel where the rudder broke off. I will get some pictures up of how I did it, actually pretty clever (a little proud of myself). I'm working on a long liner out of Gloucester for the next few days so I wont get a chance to see how it turned out till wed. I'll let you know.|
