A4 fuel pump removal

TRy a 1/4 drive flex extension.available at sears. Worked for me, remember to spray liberally with penetrating oil and give it some time to work.

Removal of Atomic 4 Fuel Pump

I just did this on an Islander 32. I used a 1/4" drive, 3" extentsion to a 1/2" socket...all 1/4" drives. It was not easy, but it was doable and I couldn't get direct access.

remove fuel pump/atomic 4

how can I remove the fuel pump on a late model atomic 4. The top nut at 2 oclock postion is unreachable with any type of sock, wrench or tool that i have.
Any ideas?
