T25 Owners Manual

Is there any chance someone has a copy of the T25 Owners Manual, 1986-1988. PDF, Word, Photos etc...

fishinshaq Yep, I should be bringing her over next week. She needs some work but should be some fun. I looked at your boat, Great Shape! but out of my price range. It's hard to low ball offer someone who has taken care of the boat, lol.

Are you running a fractional rig, she just may be over powered, 150 genoa's and such. Downwind, the design should lite it up with good boom vang release, I hope.

was yours listed on Ocean Yacht's site? "The Guvenor" I think? Mine is the other one - Blue
Haven't gotten it to plane, but you've put an idea in my head for sure!

I can easily get 6 knots upwind (5.7 with just the main alone one day!)
Downwind I've found a bit more challenging

the boat is certainly tender, I've thought that a few hundred more pounds in the keel would be good.

fishinshaq Funny I just bought a Tanzer 25 in Halifax. It's hull 003 off the line. People that are 6,4" will find it very tight, most boats for that matter. I have started a Group in Facebook with information on the T25 and T29. If anyone is interested in joining let me know. These two designs are last design models before the bank pulled the plug on Tanzer. The 25 will actually plane out on a broad reach, for those Lazer sailers.

robtanzerhalifax I have a t25 - 1988 not sure of the hull number - Ill check. Its a great boat, a bit tender but fun and easy to single hand. Any tuning notes from anyone?
I actually am selling it as its a bit small for me and my brother (I'm 6feet he's 6"4") I dont think he's ever used the head for fear of getting stuck in there!

junaido I finally got the boat, hull #57 built in 88. Interestingly even though its a Tanzer, the builder is listed as Challenger Yachts of Canada.

rperret junaid - go to tanzer yahoo news group - there you will find 98% of tanzer owners posting info - though most own the older tanzers.

junaido I am a newly minted T25 owner. Just bought a 1988 Tanzer 25 sight unseen. I have yet to take delivery from seller. Will update hull # and info when I know it. It looks like a nice solid boat but the real test will be when we sail it on the Columbia River in Portland, OR.

CaseyJones Beauty of a boat.. I'd consider selling mom to get my hands on one (jk).. Lots of 26's and 22's for sale up here.. neither are as nice as the 25..

I have one in Barnaget NJ. Great Sailing boat very fast. Light sail single handed. Sails great in heavy weather with single reef main 20+ knots. 120 JIB. Not fast in sailing off the wind. Needs 130 jib. New roller ferrel.
