deniseO30 have one on the cabin roof, it would be in the way of bow activities anyway and get mashed first time out. Dorades are removable.. I'm thinking on those lines now.

c40eb How about a solar vent, like the Nicro? Positive ventilation...always good.

The cutout for the larger one is 4 3/4".

oops! skylight port is now a vent

my Oday 30 has to little round (about 4") flat glass ports in the deck above the vee berth.. they let in light but very little. Well, last night I happened to put my knee on one while working on the teak refinish.. Sigh... it popped. seems to be made of real glass. Options? or just get new glass? I was thinking it would be a great place for dorade vents except they would be in the way of bow activites like anchoring and mooring. Gotta love old boats!
