Sealing the tabernacle to the deck.
The tabernacle bolts on my Spindrift 22 seems to have developed a leak. Four bolts run straight through the deck and into the cabin. Water appears to be seaping down one of the screws.
The tabernacle is simply a thick, bent metal sheet. There appears to be some caulking around the tabernacle, but I'm not sure if it is original.
What can I do to this to stop water from leaking through to the cabin? Should there be a seal or gasket between the tabernacle and the deck?
The deck does not appear to have significant damage.
