CalebD Smacky is coming to town and we are having nothing but cool, rainy weather. Hmmm. At least we were able to race last night up on the Hudson in good wind with no rain.
Bene, send me a PM as to the time and place.

Bene505 Good point. I know people who sell Christmas trees. You can't get them to do anything in late November or early December. Once Christmas hits, they vacation for a month!

Nah. It's prime sailing season, so schedules are tight. And up that way, they only have about three weeks of summer.

But if you guys were meeting in Annapolis, I'd join you...

Smack -- a burger sounds good.
Bene - Ahhhh man I would love to do it then but I am actually flying to Bermuda that day for my big trip to sail back to Newport in the Bermuda cruising rally. Maybe sometime after the 4th of July? If not I plan on sailing my own boat out to Block Island the 2nd week in August and we usually stop over a night on the way there or way back somewhere in the Peconic so maybe if your in Montauk we could connect then?

Just an idea.

Smack - sorry if I came off sounding rude that I didn't want to go. I would love to meet you guys and grab a beer but this weekend I will be on the water as of Thursday till Sunday so won't be able to make it to Huntington - NOT because you are the Barak Obama of Sailnet . I just thought for another time it would be cool to make a weekend out of it and bring the boats as well. We could organize it ahead of time and make reservations at one of the marinas and have a "Sailnet Rendesvous" where we just bbq and hang out, check out the boats and have a good time and spend the night on the boats.

Anyway hope you guys have fun.
