The stuff from the link I posted is gray and comes with a nice thin paper backing that is very easily removed. I have beded tracks and other hardware with it and it works perfectly.
My cockpit is full of fastener holes I have yet to fix. I just put little squares of butyl tape over them until I can fix them.

|wolfshead13||Most auto glass places have it.. $10.00 for a 25 ft roll here (Ontario, Canada) at Speedy Auto Glass so maybe 5 bucks american. Comes in black or grey and the only big trick is a clean surface.|

|huguley3||Awesome! I bought some from home depot but it ended up having a plastic backing to it. It was for putting around window flashing to seal them. My girlfriend scraped enough off to seal a chainplate after 45 minutes or so but its not going to work very well to seal 4 windows without some serious strife.|

Where to buy Butyl Tape?
I know the info has to be here somewhere, but I haven't been able to find it.
Where do you guys buy butyl tape? Searching online I haven't found any dealers local.
