Farr 727

I have a 1976 Hughes Northstar 727, aka Farr 727, on Lake Carlyle IL that we can no longer sail and don't want to haul to new home in Michigan. No trailer. Would take any reasonable offer. Have had for many years. Sistership won both World MORC and IOR QT in Charleston SC in 1976. Still potent and fun, but needs age appropriate TLC.

Farr 24

Hi,

I own a Farr 727 called Zoom in Oakville, Ontario.

Bought it two years ago and have been having a blast. We actively race but you can weekend cruise on these boats as well.

There are a few boats for sale. I can put you in touch with potential sellers if you are interesed.

You can also check out our North American website at yahoo groups www.yahoogroups.com/farr727

Where are you located.

Mike:

Here is a photo of a Farr 727 for sale in your area. I believe they were built by Northstar/Hughes.

Farr 24

I am a big fan of Farr''s work but I have never heard of a model called a Farr 24. The closest thing that I can think of was the Farr 727 which, for its day was a really wonderful 24 footer from the 1970''s, and the Farr 25 (Also sold as the Plato and the Beneteau First 25) which was a nice boat as well.

A friend was told to look for a Farr 24. Anyone know where info can be found on this boat?

Thanks

Mike
